Balayage

Hand-painted, freehand highlights for soft, dimensional, low-maintenance color that grows out beautifully — no harsh regrowth line. Our most-requested service.

Foilayage

Foils at the root for lift and brightness, blended into balayage through the mid-lengths and ends. The brightness of highlights with a softer grow-out — our most popular combination service.

Air Touch Reverie Signature

A premium hand-painted color technique that uses a hair dryer to blow away shorter, finer baby hairs before painting — so only the strongest, most evenly-distributed strands receive lightener. The result is exceptionally soft dimension, the most natural-looking grow-out of any color service we offer, and finished color that moves like real sun-lightening rather than salon work.

Refined into its current form by Sal Misseri and the Kaizen Education team. Performed at Reverie by Sal and his longtime protégé Marissa White — the two specialists trained on the Kaizen-refined protocol.

Highlights & Babylights

Traditional foil highlights for maximum brightness, precision placement, or gray blending. Partial focuses around the face and the top of the head; full covers the whole head. Babylights are very fine, closely woven highlights that mimic natural sun-lightening.

All-Over Hair Color

Single-process color for uniform coverage, dramatic change, or refreshing existing tone. Vibrancy, depth, and gray coverage in one step.

Gray Blending

Strategic highlights that camouflage grays without the every-four-weeks maintenance of single-process coverage. Built for clients who want to extend salon visits without seeing roots.

Root Touch-Up

Maintenance single-process color on new growth only. The most efficient way to refresh between full color appointments.

Toner & Gloss

Tone correction, brassiness neutralization, and shine. Included with every lightening service; available as a standalone treatment to refresh in-between visits.

Darker pieces added for depth and dimension. Often combined with highlights to keep blonde looking lived-in rather than flat.

Color Correction

Fixing box-dye buildup, banding, brassiness, uneven tone, and over-processed hair. One of our core specialties — we see more correction work than almost any salon in Chicago. Most corrections require an in-person consultation to assess the hair and build a realistic plan.

Precision Haircut

Built around your face shape, lifestyle, and how you actually style your hair at home. Bobs, layers, shags, pixies, and full transformations. Every cut includes consultation, shampoo, and a finish style. Priced by length, never by gender.

Curly & Textured Hair Cut

Dry cutting for curly, coily, and wavy hair — cut while your curls are doing what they actually do. With curly hair specialist Marissa White.

Professional Blowout

Wash, blow-dry, and finish — for events, photos, or just because. Smooth, voluminous, or whatever direction matches your hair.

Keratin Smoothing Treatment

Deep frizz elimination and smoothing that lasts 3–6 months. Best for thick, coarse, or very frizzy hair where you want a strong, long-wearing result. Cuts blow-dry time in half and makes hair more humidity-resistant. Applied to clean, dry hair; aftercare instructions provided. We also offer a Keratin Blowout from $150 and Color Lock Keratin from $150.

Hand-Tied, Tape-In, Micro-Link & Keratin Fusion

Each method has a different installation and maintenance schedule. Hand-tied for most clients; tape-ins for finer hair; keratin bonds for the most natural movement. All extensions are color-matched and installed in-house by our team. Installation starts at $300 plus the cost of the hair, which is quoted at your $35 consultation; move-ups and removals each start at $150.

Wedding Day & Bridal Party

We book trials 4–8 weeks before the wedding, then come to you on the day — hotel, venue, wherever you’re getting ready. Bridesmaids, mothers, and flower girls are all available. Peak season (May–October) books out months in advance.

Reverie Head Spa
