Vicki O'Connor brings over twenty years of experience in the beauty industry to Reverie Salon in River North, Chicago. She is Reverie's Master Colorist and second in charge behind founder Sal Misseri. With international training credentials and a deep passion for education, Vicki is one of Chicago's most knowledgeable and accomplished color specialists.
International Training
Vicki has traveled the world with Sal Misseri, training and educating in cities including Parma, Paris, Amsterdam, and Barcelona. One of Davines' key trainers when the brand launched in North America over 16 years ago, she earned the distinction of Master Colorist — and she refined that craft under Sal himself, who coached and developed her for more than a decade before bringing her to Reverie, where she now helps train the team.

As a member of the Kaizen Education team, Vicki brings her personal experience and expertise to stylists across the country. She values sustainability, continued education, and goal-driven teamwork — striving with every lesson and service to provide a clear, specialized experience for both stylist and guest.
Grey, Kept Beautiful
Vicki's finest work begins where the grey already is. For clients whose natural grey is coming in, she softens the root until there's no line to look at, weaving dimensional color through it so the grey reads as something chosen rather than something happening — bright, deliberate, and unmistakably yours. It is patient, exacting work, and there is nobody at Reverie better at it.
She is also the one who keeps it that way. Most of her guests see her every eight to twelve weeks, and grey looked after on that rhythm stays luminous instead of going flat — which is why so many of her clients have been in her chair for years.
Clients coming off years of permanent color begin that corrective work with Sal, whose Grey Transition is built for it. Once you are through the transition, Vicki is who keeps it.
