Milbon Molding Wax 5 3.5oz

Milbon's Molding Wax 5 is the middle of their wax range, and the one I hand most people who ask for "a wax" — it gives shape and control without the sculpting strength of the 7. The creamy formula spreads with almost no effort, so you get even control without clumps, and the light, reworkable finish means you can change the style during the day and still rinse it clean at night.

Milbon's own guide to the three: use Molding Wax 3 for texture and separation, Molding Wax 5 for shape and control, and Molding Wax 7 for sculpting and molding. If you've only ever used a 3 and found it too soft, 5 is the natural next step.

How to use: Spread a pea-sized amount between your palms, then work through dry hair. Add more as needed — building up is easier than taking away.
