Wedding day hair is one of those things that sounds simple until you think about everything it needs to do: look beautiful in person, photograph well from every angle, hold through hours of heat and humidity and dancing, and feel like you the entire time. That’s a tall order. It’s also exactly what our bridal team does.

Maria Korinek leads bridal services at Reverie and has styled hundreds of Chicago weddings. She takes the trial appointment as seriously as the day-of because the trial is where we solve every potential problem before it matters.

Our process

Consultation first — we talk about your dress, your venue, your comfort level, and what you love about your hair (and what drives you crazy about it). Then a trial 4–8 weeks before the wedding to finalize everything. On the day, our team comes to you and works backwards from your ceremony time to make sure everyone — bride, bridesmaids, mothers — is ready with time to spare.

What brides are asking for right now

Relaxed, organic texture. Loose waves, soft half-ups, low buns that don’t look like they required an engineering degree. The “effortless” look actually takes more skill than a structured updo because you’re working with the hair’s natural movement while still making it last all day.
